Amazon and Barnes and Noble both have bestseller lists of their own that are updated regularly, on the hour practically. Of course, these bestseller lists will look very similar to each other and to the New York Times Bestseller lists. The BBC’s Big Read Top 100 Books

The BBC, a British news company, conducted a survey of the nation’s (England) best loved novels. This list contains books that are popular now such as the Harry Potter books as well as classics such as Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. Keeping up with current events
As a college student, it’s always good to keep up with current affairs. Why? You never know when a professor will decide to hold a group discussion about an event that occurred that week or you never know when you’ll have to write about a particular event.
